To mark the 20th Anniversary of New Zealand’s Oscar-qualifying documentary festival Doc Edge ‘25, we created ‘Sapiosexy, the documentary. ‘

A tongue-in-cheek doco short following Jack, who wakes up one day feeling sapiosexy – a term used to describe people who are so smart it’s downright sexy. Over the course of a day, we learn about his condition in the pursuit of finding out what’s causing it. Could it be the documentaries at Doc Edge making Jack sapiosexy…maybe…possibly…yes it is.

At the festival’s Opening Gala Night, the screening was followed by a live spoof Q&A with the lead character Jack – a recently sapiosexy person.
